The driver was securing a gate when the selector lever in his 1986 chrysler lebaron moved from park to reverse. as a result the vehicle rolled backwards striking the driver. the driver died from injuries sustained in this accident. complainant is a consultant engineer who evaluates automobile transmissions. the position indicator was vague and hard to read.
