1986 RENAULT ALLIANCE User Comment / Complaint

Smelled anitfreeze in the car, subsequently found carpet soaked with antifreeze called dealership in arlington and was told that they have had several problems with the heater core. estimated cost to repair $930. car is out of factory warranty but has extended warranty w/ $500 deductible. was told to call warranty people and tell them was "cracked" and that it would be covered. mileage is only 47,000.  view

I bought my 94 mitsubishi galant in december of 1998. the first time my alternator belt broke was august of 1999. since then my belt has been replaced 12 times (7 times the belt was replaced by a mechanic). most of the time, my husband or myself have been driving when the belt brakes leaving us stranded on the side of the road. the belt also squeaks really bad. i've tried to get this problem fixed, but no one seems to know what is causing it to squeak. i've had alternator's replaced, belts replaced, and the pulley adjusted. none of it worked, but i still had to pay for it. please help me.  view

The sliding door would not reopen when a object is in the path of closing as designed to do. dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem. consumer sustained injuries to the lower torso.  view

The passenger door failed to unlock, preventing entry and exit from the vehicle. taken to dealer for repair once, but the problem recurred.  view

After being struck by another vehicle, then striking a concrete post, the air bags did not deploy. prior to being struck, consumer's vehicle was traveling at 70 mph. consumer sustained minor injuries. vehicle considered a total loss.  view

I have a 2004 350z and i have notice load noise from my drivers side tire. i took to the nissan dealer and they check the alignment and the results was the toe where way off align. the corect it but the noise came back. i told them that i heard that the 2003 had problems with feathering and they said that it was corrected with the 2004 model. so, what is the true answer. i think they still have problem. i love my z, but they need to be trueful with the z customer and admit there is still a problem and fix it. i think they need to offer a tire replacement for the damaged its causing tires. i'm sure i will have to replace my tires.  view

Upon opening the door it completely fell off, breaking the consumer' s leg. however, cadillac will do nothing to assist the consumer.  view

The position of the left windshield wiper is incorrect, preventing it from going all the way up and clearing the windshield during inclement weather. this is making the ability to see the road difficult. manufacturer was contacted by consumer, and was informed that nothing could be done to adjust the windshield wiper. the consumer stated that the drivers side wipers will not defrost.  view
