2002 BMW 745I User Comment / Complaint

There have been many occasions when the doors on my 2002 bmw 745 have frozen closed after driving to a destination. this could have resulted in a serious problem had we been in an accident and not been able to exit the car. myself and my passengers could have been trapped in the car. i have also had occasion when the door would not latch after driving to a destination. i have made numerous complaints to the dealer and have been told there is no solution to this problem other than spraying the door latch with silicone. this only works for a short while and is ineffective if very cold temperatures follow within a day or two of rain or having the car washed.
