1995 EAGLE TALON User Comment / Complaint

The consumer lost control of the vehicle because the steering wheel locked. the consumer pulled off the road, and the vehicle was towed. the consumer stated that there was a part that came off of the vehicle. it was later found that the transfer case fell out, which caused other damage and low level of oil, even though the fluid level was checked prior. the manufacturer told the consumer that the vehicle needs to be taken to the dealership for evaluation. after the evaluation, the service manager stated this wasn't the problem. owner has documentation of service records. nhtsa recall campaign 98v069002 transfer case.
