Experienced serious problems with intake manifold. there was a backfire through the intake manifold which produced a loud bang and severe damage to other items in the engine compartment. the consumer believed the problem she experienced was the same as the recall that was issued. it was discovered the fuel pressure regulator was defective, however the consumers claim for reimbursement was denied.
