While driving ball joint broke. recall# 00v421002. the previous owner had taken the vehicle for the recall but was told that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. the consumer was informed that the recall could not be completed because the vehicle had been lowered. the consumers son was driving the vehicle when the ball joint detached at 20 mph.
