1996 GMC C15 User Comment / Complaint

While vehicle was parked front coil springs snapped, and vehicle became inoperative. dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.  view

While driving 35 mph steering wheel turned right. when consumer attempted to correct the direction of the steering wheel vehicle rolled over six times. no report of airbag deployment. driver sustained head injuries.  view

While pulling out of a parking lot the vehicle accelerated uncontrollably. the consumer was not able to maintain control of the vehicle and it crashed into a parked vehicle. the consumer drove the vehicle to a garage. the consumer started that vehicle, touched the accelerator to ease out of park when the engine raced. the vehicle lunged forward into the parked vehicle.  view

Nar 04/28/2003 mr while driving 55-70 mph the consumer engine died out because of a defective plastic intake manifold.  view

Was driving towards rapid city on i -90 w from st paul minnesotta. at around 10.30 am the vehicle acura mdx 04 model while getting past a rv the rv started swaying and the left rear wheel of the mdx was on the left shoulder. while getting back to the road the vehicle was totally out of control and wnet across the road and hit a fence on the side of the road and came to a stop. this happened at mile marker 159 in south dakota. air bags were deployed. once we got off the vehicle we observed that the left rear tire had slipped off the rim. the vehicle is equipped with vsa but it did not seem to help as the vehicle was uncontrollable . the speed at the time was between 65 and 70 mph. acura would not lodge my complaint and was asked to work with my insurance company on this.  view

Problems with 2001 kia rio. the consumer's vehicle experienced multiple fuel system problems. the consumer received a recall notice in reference to the fuel distributor and main fuel tube assembly. the consumer contacted the dealer who indicated that the problems were not related. the vehicle also had other problems. the engine would hesitate while driving. the dealer replaced the spark plugs and wires. the rear end vibrated. the dealer replaced both rear dampers. the consumer heard a clunking noise during acceleration. the dealer determined that he motor mounts were cracked. the rear wheel bearings were worn excessively.  view
