Exiting eisenhower tunnel west bound on i-70, speed increased to the point that pac-brake caused engine speed to approach governed limit, hard application of brakes (about 4-5 seconds) to slow to less than governed speed apparently caused excessive heat build up in left rear brake system causing abs sensor to fall out of backing plate and abs warning light to be displayed on dashboard. this tended to cause erratic brake operation with a great deal of brake noise. the unit is presently (6/16/2004) at tulsa spring being repaired and i will require retention of failed parts, vin and other data can be supplied i, don't have it at hand.  view

Leaking coolant tank. the coolant tank on this vehicle has failed in numerous cars resulting in expensive repairs. many owners i have contacted have experienced the same tank failure. i believe porsche should fix these cars under a recall. this is clear case of a design deficency which will lead to overheating and failure of the engine. if this happens in traffic, the operater could be injured or killed. the tank must be replaced with an updated part from porsche that has had the material changed.  view

The brake lights on my 2002 trailbalzer have either burned out or failed to function 3 times in the past 2 years. a serious issue since i was notified by other drivers while driving in heavy traffic. once the bulbs were replaced at the dealership and the other times at local mechanics while i was traveling. enough of an issue to make me consider trading vehicles.  view

I had loss of control of my vehicle this morning which i believe is a direct result of my steering/ball joint / rack and pinion failure. it's at the dealer now being looked over thoroughly. the dealer just replaced the intermittent steering shaft last week.  view
