1988 CHEVROLET NOVA User Comment / Complaint

Ac does not blow cold. third time for this repair. car has only 35,000 miles.  view

Vehicle is having electrical problems. turn signals were defective, the gas gauge will indicate that vehicle has more gas than what was really in the vehicle. the power steering trac off light came on. also, vehicle shut down completely and had to be towed.  view

Jaguar has 40,000 l997 model xk8 sold for $75,0000. needs new engine! dealer wont take of expense of replacing it. web says they have faulty tensioners, and cylinder liners.  view

My new honda shadow sabre motorcycle speedometer reads 10% higher than actual speed of vehicle.  view

Recall regarding gas tank problem. while driving the consumer hit a pothole in the road. shortly after all the fuel in the fuel tank leaked out. the dealer did not save the tank or inspect it further because the consumer hit a pothole. sometime in 2001 the consumer received a recall (00v-314001) regarding a gas tank problem. the vehicle was taken to a dealer and the recall work was done.  view

When driving 10 mph consumer turned the steering wheel towards the left and steering wheel made a grinding noise. also, brakes were difficult to depress. consumer was able to control the vehicle, and towed it to dealership for inspection.  view

While driving dashboard instrumental panel failed to display information. consumer drove vehicle to the dealer, and mechanic determined that computer needed to be replaced due to a worn out part.  view

Consumer stated that 2.7 liter engine caught on fire. consumer was driving and noticed the smoke under the engine. consumer opened the hood and the engine was engulfed in flames. there was evidence of motor oil all over the engine. vehicle was towed to the dealer, who insisted after an inspection that vehicle was fine. however, the vehicle had serious engine problems. consumer's insurance company refused to assist stating that this problem was the manufacturer's fault. consumer contacted the manufacturer, and was told that warranty expired. this vehicle had only 53,000 miles, and became totally useless.  view
