On 7/31 i had a tire pressure system fault error and took in for problem to be fixed. on 8/17 while driving vehicle i was shoved into steering wheel as far up as it would go and mirrors were going crazy on outside. i 'm three months pregnant and i already lost 2 of the 3 triplets i found out on 8/25. not sure if this is why or not. on top of that had another tire pressure system fault error. they put on machine and found 7 error codes and said they fixed, if it happened again to bring it back. on 8/30 the lights went nuts, the back liftgate almost crushed me in it. luckily, i got my head out from the bottom just in time before gate closed. the sensors/electrical system were not working. this is major to me, if one of my children had been back there and didn't think fast enough - i cringe to think that they would have been killed. i have a case open with ford right now as we speak. i'm so scared to get this vehicle back because that lift gate could have killed me and what if i get this back and they fix these 5 electrical problems they are working on now and then i find out the hard way that there are more. it seems they fix one problem and i have more. it's like one fix and it triggers more. please assist me anyway possible. i researched and according to ohio law they have one opportunity to fix the liftgate and if it doesn't then it is a lemon. however, i'm afraid they aren't going to be able to fix the electrical mess in this vehicle. all i want is my purchase price back. i'm paying over $1000 a month on this vehicle (which is more than my rent) and this is the most expensive car i have ever purchased and it is also the most dangerous. please help. sincerely, michelle c. jones  view

While driving down the freeway on my way to work in rush hour traffic my car began to shake. as i slowed there was a tearing sound from the drivers front tire. almost instantly parts from that part of the car, such as the fender and wheel well, began breaking off of the car. then i felt something rip out from under the dashboard at my feet and the car began to practically steer itself, i realized that i was in trouble. i was able to get the car off the road without hurting myself or anyone else. when i got out of the car i could see that from the front bumper to the front of the drivers side door the car had been stripped down to the frame. the main wiring harness that runs from the battery, through the side of the car and into the dash had been ripped out and wrapped around the front axel. this has resulted in my vehicle being a total loss. the estimate for repairs is $3,600.00 and once the car is repaired there is no guarantee that there may be further damage within the electrical system of the car. the insurance company will be picking the car up from the shop tomorrow. there is no reason why the main wiring harness for a vehicle should be wired through a fiberglass fender assembly and secured to it. this is a major design problem.  view

Took my '99 stratus to my mechanic for an oil leak. i was told it was a head gasket problem and that is common in that year. did some research on the internet and found a number of complaints confirming this. i called dodge and they deny having any knowledge of the problem. when i told them about the complaints on this and other sites he again denied any knowledge of it. i was told that it's my problem not theirs. after this experience there is no way i will ever buy a chrysler product again and i don't think anyone should.  view

Steering wheel has not been centered in front of the drivers seat. while seated the steering wheel was 2 1/2 inches to the right of the drivers seat. this condition fatigued the drivers arms while driving any distance. gm customer service was contacted 6-19-03. the consumer is afraid that if the air bag deploys it may injure him instead of saving him.  view

Gear shift is my big problem right now with my car. it has been in 3 times in the past 2 years. 1st two times was due to the in-ability to get the car out of park. 1st repair could not get the car out of park. repair was lubricate the gear shift cable. (accused driver of getting pop in the gear shifter) 2nd repair could not get the car out of park. repair was to replace the gear shift cable. 3rd repair car stalled on the road and would not start. repair "free-up shifter shat in transmission (would not go all the wasy in park and was hard to find any gears and would cause a no start)". this is the quote on the back of the repari ticket. when the car was pick-up. the car again refused to start. was told that the gear shifter on the floor had to be shoved to the consolse to make the car recognize that it is in the "park" location. what i want is fair market value for my car from kia. right now getting run around. they need more information from the kia repair and service manager before anything else can be done. right now i am afraid to drive this car because if it stalls on a busy road, it takes about 30 seconds to force the gear shift into the right location to get the engine to turn over. second complaint is now i am being told that the car needs new tires and brakes (rotors). again kia blaming the driver, break down is due to bad braking habbits.  view
