1994 ACURA NSX User Comment / Complaint

While driving between 65 - 70 mph consumer heard a flapping noise. consumer pulled over and turned vehicle off to inspect. vehicle wouldn't restart. vehicle was towed to a dealership, and mechanic indicated that noise was due to engine failure. the engine had sludge build up. prior to the engine failure vehicle had had an oil change. this might have been caused by fuel pump failure.  view

The consumer was able to remove the key from the ignition switch when the vehicle was not in park. the dealer stated sorry, there was no recall on this vehicle. the defroster was inoperative.  view

2003 f-150 supercrew xlt 4wd noise present in front-end. especially when backing out of driveway sounds like an idler arm or steering linkage (tie rods) also noise in steering gear/pitman arm. result is loose steering espcially while at high speeds. loose steering is present even at lower speeds and vehicle tracks road in an unusual fashion. have discussed with ford service dept on 4 occasions. they have been unable to provide a remedy. they tell me its characteristic of the vehicle.  view

Intake manifold is leaking on 5.7 vortec. i know of 2 other trucks that this has also happened on as well as the dealer is well aware of the problem. it is also well documented on the web. if you have a 5.7 liter motor it is not if it's going to happen but when. why do i have 100,000 coolant when the gaskets only last 74,000? intake manifold water leak....  view

Bought car new. power steering never worked. needed to be replaced.  view

Problems with vehicle's brake lights and alternator. the car had problems since it left the dealership. the alternator had to be replaced, the 4-wheel drive switch was replaced, the car stalls, brake lights keep shorting out. it cost the consumer $263.49 to have the car fixed. the consumer was not satisfied with chevrolet or it's warranty.  view
