1989 BMW 750 User Comment / Complaint

After an expensive repair to the front driver's side power window (replaced both channel/runner and regulator/motor), i now realize that this is a fairly common problem with newer hondas. i have checked the nhtsa website and have located several similar complaints. in addition, i know of several other honda owners who experienced the same problem and were forced to pay for the exact same repairs. i think that honda should reduce the cost of their parts for this repair and investigate the problem with their front driver-side power windows.  view

Vehicle has excessive play in the front wheels. consumer suspects problem with upper ball joints. this problem is occurring on both sides of the vehicle, even when it is immobile. when vehicle is in motion noise can be heard in front of vehicle. also, steering is very unstable when vehicle is moving at medium to high speed.  view

I was driving my 2 children (ages 3 and 5) and my brother in my 2000 oldsmobile silhouette. i was traveling at 40 mph. with absolutely no warning, my van lost all power. i tried several times to put on my hazard warning flashers but they would not work. i put my van in park and turned off the ignition. we tried to exit through the front doors and through the passenger side rear door but all three doors were locked and would not open even after pressing the unlock power door locks several times. i attempted to open the rear hatch but was unable to do so. i managed to crawl over my 3 year old who was in a full size car seat next to the driver side rear door. after feeling around in the dark, i finally found a door handle that would open.  view

1994 nissan maxima has a strong odor of gasoline when started in the mornings. usually, but not always, odor goes away after 20-30 minutes of driving. this is a random problem, and appears to be worse in cooler weather but has occurred in warm weather. strength of the odor varies day by day. the car has been checked for faulty fuel injectors, the hosing has been checked, the fuel filter changed. there are no "clean spots" indicating gas leakage on an old dirtier engine. odor is so strong at times that the car has to be parked outside the garage at home for fear that a spark from the hot water heater will ignite the fumes. also, fire from engine heat is a concern as is driving the car and having another motorist toss out a cigarette butt. i've been told that 95 models had a device installed in the fuel line because of this problem.  view

Traveling on he interstate in my 2000 dodge durango with 50k miles on it when sudden loss of oil pressure to 0. knocking under hood. pulled over, towed to mechanic shop. engine total loss. i have seen and heard numerous same problems and feel something should be done and i will be working my hardest on that.  view

1997 vw passat tdi: rr door lock cannot be opened from inside. problem developed over period of time, safety hazard because a passenger would be unable to escape. lf door and rf door developing difficult opening. door can be opened from outside with difficulty. lf door will open only by power.  view

Due to the brakes on a 2000 ford taurus that i just purchased i was the cause of an accident because the brakes wouln't allow me to stop.as an owner i was not instructed to the proper way to set the position of the pedals.ak  view
