1996 GMC C2500 User Comment / Complaint

Gm 6.5l diesel 94-2000. the fuel injection pump fuel solenoid driver fails without warning causing loss of engine power/power steering/and brakes. a recent failure while towing a 7500 trailer caused a near accident while on a curve due to the extreme difficulty in steering whine this occurs. this is a very common problem. gm has extended the warranty on the fuel injection pump but has done nothing to correct the failure of replacement parts which is very common.
