1985 PLYMOUTH RELIANT User Comment / Complaint

Transmission apparantly failing to shift, seems stuck in 2nd as vehicle has no horsepower and will not accelerate over about 25-30mph (can't tell speed), will not shift gears (reverse still works). at the same time the speedometer stopped working and check engine light came on. no other apparant side effects (i.e. a/c still works, belts intact, fuses ok). occurred while operating with passengers (age 5 and 5-mos. old) - why would chrysler corp. allow such an apparant safety hazard to exist? this vehicle has been well-maintained and has just over 40,000-miles - is this all chrysler products are good for? recall?  view

My 1986 , 8 valve, 2.0 liter saab 900 stalls out in hot weather and will not restart unless at least 15 minutes have passed. i have replaced the fuel filter,distributor cap, ignition coil, spark plugs, and the problem still exists.  view

My year 2000 yamaha 650 v-star makes a whine when i shift into 5th gear. it has been related to me as a definite saftey issue as possibly causing the bike to lock up in 5th gear. i have called one dealer where i know the service manager to ask if there is a recall on this issue. he called yamaha for me and told me i was out of luck. i would like to go on record with this issue and hopefully seek some remedy as it has been widely documented on the isra forum. i am concerned for myself as well as my passengers. please help.  view

Electrical system fails intermittently.  view

While driving at 40 mph vehicle impacted a brick wall. upon impact, neither the driver's side nor the passenger's side air bags deployed. driver sustained serious bodily injuries.  view
