Failure on the transmission when the vehicle was put in reverse the vehicle suddenly accelearated causing the consumer to have an accident.

When the brakes were applied the pedal went to the floor which caused the vehicle to experience extended stopping distance. the dealer was notified. the anti lock malfunctioned. the pedal moved slightly forward and was extremely difficult to push. there was a recall issued on another brand of anti lock brakes therefore the consumers did not apply.

There is mildew or mold in the air conditioning vents which causes the passenger cabin to smell. dealer attempted to fix the problem by cleaning the air conditioning system, installing a drain hose, and putting a deodorizer through the air conditioning system. the problem still exists.

The consumer stated the headlight lenses had a thick film over them, which caused impaired vision. dealer notified. it was not moisture on them, but it appeared that the plastic had gotten cloudy inside. the problem was especially hard when driving at night and a real problem in the rain.

The front ball joints are loose causing the tires to wear out unreasonalbe sooner. the front upper ball joints need to be replaced and can become dangerous. the front end makes noises and feels unsecured at times. i have asked the dealer to exam the front end after purchasing the vehicle. the machanic said everything was normal.
