1987 DODGE 600 User Comment / Complaint

I bought the car new in november of 2002. i have been complaining of fuel economy since the car was new. i am not getting close to what is listed at 19-25 mpg. dealer has been told of this several times. they are unable to find a problem.  view

While driving the car, the transmission started to go in neutral and then to drive.  view

While moving the car in the driveway i heard some loud banging noises. i stopped and looked in the driveway and found brake parts laying in the driveway from this car. was towed to dealer.  view

Consumer states while driving all of electrical components went out. cause unknown.  view

On certain mini vans clockspring assembly may have been winded incorrectly during the vehicle assembly process.remedy: dealers will replace the clockspring assembly on all vehicles with 70,000 miles or less. an extended lifetime warranty will also be placed on this component for all affected vehicles, regardless of mileage. daimlerchrysler will also reimburse owners who have paid to have the clockspring replaced on their vehicles. owner notification began november 18, 2002. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact daimlerchrysler at 1-800-853-1403.  view

The brakes on my 2002 subaru wrx faded, and my foot went to the floor, and then the brakes after 3 to 5 seconds kicked in.  view

Vechicle accelaration when foot is off gas. pumping gas pedal did not stop this action. pumping brakes or pressing hard on brakes do not stop action. only placing the car in neutral and then shifting back into drive stop this action. was on merritt parkway in ct when this occurred. this is the second occurrence for this vechile.  view

The left rear tire lost all tread but did not lose air. the following day the front right tire lost tread and had blown. the tires were rotated and the air pressure was checked regularly.  view
