Kia-sedona. winshield cracks. battery draines when van sits 2 or more days. i hv contacted the dealr. am scheduling service. have had to jump start the van 3 times in the last year. winshield cracked recently while driving(no objects involved). believe this is an ongoing problem. friend has similiar problem with 2002 sedona. dealer replaced. driver window closes too tightly when button is held to close. makes cracking noise.  view

When starting the engine first thing in the morning, the engine fumbles then stalls.  view

2002 camry driver's side front inside door handle broke off preventing exit from vehicle. vehicle has 16,000 miles on it. this part is made of plastic. all of my current and recent vehicles have a metal inside door handle i.e 1994 and 1996 honda accords, 1992 chrysler town and country and 1990 toyota camry.  view

On two occasions i have had a chip in the front windshield of my 2001 hyundai 300l, the first time was august 2002, this was repaired through my insurance company. the second time was in november 2002 - this has not been repaired. one of my friends has a hyundai accent and he just had a stone chip and windshield had to be replace. i had mine fixed at safe-t-glass in wallkinll ny and they informed me that they fix more hyundai windshields than any other car. my friend had his replaced at rosen's glass in middletown, ny this past week and the owner stated that hyundai glass is "shit" and they have replace a "ton" of them. i want to know if this is a defective safety product and can this be checked into? thank you - ken nagle.  view

When i purchased the vehicle, at about 65,000 miles, the gasoline indicator did not work. i had to have the sending unit replaced, at a total cost of over $500. i don't believe this should have happened at this stage in the vehicle's life. i had thought to just use the trip odometer, until i ran out of gas two times - not a good situation for a woman alone.  view

Transmission locked-up on 1996 dodge grand caravan. when we contacted someone about obtaining a transmission, we were informed that the manufacturer had already sent letters to dodge dealerships to expect to be contacted about transmission problems on the 1996 & 1997 grand caravans; the dealerships were told that the transmissions in these vehicles were defective, but that they(manufacturer) would not have them repaired. my husband was traveling on i-40 business outside of winston salem, nc, when this happened. he had with him our 8 year old daughter and my step-daughter, they were stranded on the side of the road for over 4 hours, and at night. we had previously had a "pin" of some sort in the transmission repaired and the van seemed to be fine after that; we had no other indication that there was a problem--the van's transmission went out without any indication that there was a problem. this happened on a very busy part of the interstate; it just shut down and could have been a very dangerous situation if they had been traveling in the left lane of traffic. due to being in the right lane, they were fortunate enough to get it off the road without being hit by other traffic. we also had to have the van towed over 60 miles to get it home. i would appreciate any info. or assistance you can offer. please contact me if other info or questions are needed. thank you.  view
