1990 MASERATI MASERATI User Comment / Complaint

Was pulling out of parking slot when front torsion bar broke. this caused the vehicle to drop on the wheel and loss of steering control. problem sounded like an explosion.  view

Evenflo model # 4262l3p1, dom 09/08/1999 coil in armrest broke while attempting to lift handle up to move seat from one vehicle to another. child safety seat has gray straps with blue jean material. please provide further details.  view

Orginal firestone, wilderness ht spare tire size unknown with zero miles, sidewall melted from frame touching the rubber. consumer believed oil from engine caused damage to frame, that, in return, caused damage to spare tire. dealer has yet to be contacted. please provide further details.  view

97 v 194 002/fuel level sending unit: vehicle fuel level sending unit indicating significantly more fuel in the tank than is actually present. may not be aware that vehicle is low of fuel, and increasing risk of a crash if vehicle stops due to no fuel. manufacturer was notified, and informed consumer that vehicle was not covered under recall due to vin.  view

After driving to state of virginia and parking it for 5 days. when consumer attempted to start vehicle head gasket blewout.  view

Vehicle will stall without prior warning. when at stop light consumer would put vehicle in neutral. dealership was aware of the problem. dealer stated ignition system had shorted out resulting in spark plugs being burned, dealer replaced the ignition switch and spark plugs, consumer states there are still problems and now the engine is misfiring, consumer stated there was a recall regarding the ignition switch problems, however dealer informed that this vin is not included. fan belt replaced. front and rear brake pads replaced.  view

Consumer contacted dealer for recall 01i008000 repairs. but, was unable to have repairs completed because dealer without inspecting vehicle stated that fuel tanks were not leaking. please provide further details.  view

While consumer was driving tires did not feel right. he thought he had a punctured tire. but, instead there was tread separation. consumer has since purchased five new tires. (firestone tires steeltex radial lt225/75r16- dotvdtl1xb426)  view
