1990 GMC C SERIES(LIGHT) User Comment / Complaint

Consumer called complaining about having problems with the air bags deployment. also stated that the vehicle was total lost on a collision driving at 55 mph where the air bags did not deploy. dealer or manufacture were not contacted at the time of this call. ts  view

Consumer stated that while driving experienced complete tread separation resulting in a blowout of tire. vehicle is a 1999 four winds chateau. tire info: firestone 225/75r16 dot no.- * provide** original tires 25,800k miles on tire inside dual on passenger side  view

Consumer states while traveling at 25 mph. consumer states' hit a patch in the road and vehicle hydroplaned into a metal and concreted barrier. consumer states none of the vehicles airbags deployed. please describe further. ts  view

After recall for the air bag was completed the remedy failed. the dealer and manuafacturer have been notified. ts  view

Consumer stated since 10/02, vehicle had experienced 2 tire blowouts while towing a travel trailer. consumer detected a bubble in a 3rd tire, but removed it before a blowout could occur. all affected tires were original. 1st blowout was the outside left rear dual. 2nd blowout was the right inside dual. ts jg tire info: general continental lmt-460 225/70r19.5 original dot no- * provide**  view

Consumer states while he driving his vehicle at 45pmh lost the control of the car and hit a telephone pole, neither air bag diden't deploy. ph  view

While making a right turn without prior warning. the right side rear wheel spindle broke and the wheel rocks back and forth.please fill in additional information .dealer is aware of the problem. ph  view

While applying his brakes,the pedal is very loose to the fact that there is a little braking power. please fill in additional information dealer. ph  view

Consumer called complaining about having problems with the engine. also stated that while driving the vehicle the vehicle lost total power and had it towed to the dealer. dealer was contacted and stated that there was a part that needed to be replace was a processor. ph  view

Consumer stated rubber tire valve stems began deteriorating at the point where the stem protruded from the rim. this caused the stem to cut tire which resulted in the tires losing pressure. ts two of the failures were blowouts. the third was a bulge that was detected before complete failure. tires are general/continental lmt 460.  view
