1990 GMC C SERIES(LIGHT) User Comment / Complaint

Front axle, wire harness burnt, wheel fender burnt.  view

My daughter and i both own 1999 navigators. i have had one tire split and she has already had to replace two and now the third tire is defective. we believe the tires are defective and should be replaced. the tread has split on all these tires. dt  view

The rotors on the front warp and we have them re-surfaced and they end up warped again in a month or two. after contacting the dealer, i was informed of a kit to reduce the pressure exerted on the rotor but they want the customer to pay for the kit. so if they have a kit to correct this problem they know they have a problem. dt  view

Enough oil is not being supplied to engine. dealer has been notified, please provide further information.  view

The vehicle has dual tank the front tank empty into the second tank and spilling out of the gasoline tank. please provide additional information dealer is aware of the problem. ts  view

Consumer called complaining about having problems with the brakes . also states that while she is driving and steps on the brake pad the brake pad feels like if something is absorbing the pad. dealer was contacted and stated that is normal because a new brake system. ts  view

Consumer states while driving the tie rod fell off. consumer states driver side wheel was totally disconnected from vehicle. please provide any further information.  view

The complaint involves a missing part, the real stabilizer bar. this model states on the window sticker that a rear stabilizer bar is included. this car does not have a real stabilizer bar. the dealer said that he could install one for $520. chrysler would not reimburse the dealer because they claim that they beefed up the real axle and that is their stabilizer bar. i contend that this is misleading the public, particularly an informed public that knows what a stabilizer bar is. they continue to produce this model with this misleading information on the window stickers. i ask why do they show a rear stabilizer bar in their parts computer that the dealer located and offered to install for $520 if what they claim is true. the service manager agreed that this was misleading but refused to absorb the costs. other owners with same model report that their cars are missing this part as well. i hope that you can correct this situation by requiring chrysler to install the part at no cost to the owners. dt  view

The owner purchased an optional package that related to the extended tow mirrors. on this particular truck the mirrors do not come with "fish eyes" on the passenger side. the owner was told that his truck was not part of the upgrade for the 2002 which does provide fish eye on both sides. please describe details.  view
