1990 GMC C SERIES(LIGHT) User Comment / Complaint

Consumer stated that while driving and without warning the seat belt is frozen in the tracks and the consumer is unable to adjust the seat belt. dealer notified. mr  view

Consumer states that while driving the intake manifold cracked and burst causing vehicle to stall. problem occured due to component being made of plastic. mr  view

Consumer stated while driving, he noticed smoke coming from under the hood, consumer then pulled over and the vehicle became engulfed in flames.( ohio traffic crash report #10-89-278)  view

Consumer states that when depressing the brakes, the pedal requires excessive effort and travels very close to the floorboard. the consumer states that the stopping distance is increased. consumer contacted mfr who advised that the braking action is a normal occurence with a new braking system installed. the consumer states that the vehicle has been in for service several times, and has been acknowledged by a manufacturing rep that the pedal travels.  view

Consumer states vehicle has excessive rollback on inclines when accelerating from a stopped position. nlm  view

The right front tire blew for no apparent reason. the sidewall was torn. the dealer has refused to replace it because the manufacturer wouldn't refund them. the tear is from the inside out. the size of the tire is 205/65r15 92t. the tires are bridgestone potenza re92. nlm  view

The consumer states while driving the passengers front tire blewout. the tire's entire sidewall shredded. tire info: firestone p225/70r15 dot o. ela6cnj1402, with 60k miles on the tire. the dealer advised the consumer that the tire was 1/3 worn and not the original.  view
