My battery is leaking on the swing arm and rear shock. it is having trouble charging. dt  view

Advised electrical wiring harness not available, local jaguar representaive (david bamber) notified and he indicated he would locate. after two months i called jaguar customer service on june 26, 2002 1-800-452-4827, option 9, ext. 8264 (robert bosack and subject was assigned case #6182217. july 18, 2002 talked with ms romero , supervisor in customer service, 1800-452-4827, option 9 ext 8089, no new results. july 18, 2002 wrote president michael o'driscoll, jaguar, 555 macarthur blvd., mahwah, nj 07430 asking for help. july 22, 2002 received response from ms nancy synol, executive liaison, but no new advice. from july 29, 2002 through oct, 30, 2002 talked with cust. svs.reps.- only word was still trying to obtain part. i have correspondence, etc. in more detail available. dt  view

In august 2001, i recieved a letter from mercury/ford motor stating "the cover on your instrument panel may warp". i immediately called the dealer and made an appointment to have the car checked on 09/22/2001. i have the letter that was sent to me and the invoice from the dealer stating "no warpage checked ok at this time". i was advised by joseph capezzuto to keep the letter for future if needed. in the middle of september 2002 i noticed that the black plastic piece was loose on one side. i pushed it in to place several times. it was not until october 2002 that i realized that it was warping with the panel began to raise. it is several inches high blocking the lower view of the windshield. i took it to a local ford dealer and was advised to leave it that night for next day service. the next day i was told it was not covered due to the deadline expired august 31, 2002. all i want is for ford to replace the defective part that they installed in my car in the first place. thank you dt  view

Blown head gasket, dealer states need to replace short block due to corrosion, which i was told was caused by the head gasket. dt  view

Consumer stated that he was denied the tire recall benefit because the vehicle was different than those listed in the recall. (firestone wilderness tire)  view

The vehicle has been peeling paint for over a year now. sometimes in small spots but recently half the roof of the car rolled off overnight. i have been told by 2 body shops & by the service department at marshall dodge in covington, ky where i now go for service that there is a manufacturers problem with the paint. i was advised by marshall dodge to submit a request for something to be done. i did this & it came back refused with no reason given. i then wrote to the company & again it came back that they'd have to uphold the original decision based on the facts. no one ever looked at the vehicle or called to question me about the problem. the roof is starting to rust in places & i need to have the car painted. obviously i'd prefer to have the manufacturer do something than have to pay for it myself. it is his problem after all. no one who has looked at it or done any spot paint work on it will guarantee the work due to the manufacturer's lack of quality control. please advise if you can help with this matter. thanks for your assistance. dt  view
