Prior to recall notifiaction, consumer was informed that vehicle needed hoses, and belts replaced with regard to the coolant system, in december 2000, vehicle overheated and the coolant system was damaged, however the recall was based on a radiator cap which described the symptoms that consumers vehicle had, consumer was later informed that the defective radiator as described in the recall was not the cause of consumers failure and that none of the work performed would be covered.
