1992 GMC C SERIES(LIGHT) User Comment / Complaint

Door facing broke, the sliding door does not shut properly allowing air to come inside the vehicle from around the door frame. nlm  view

The abs brake system when braking and or you hit a bump, pothole or depression the brakes go into anti lock and do not come out. it takes about 1/3 more distance to stop. i had one accident where i was on the i-5 freeway, traffic stopped, i applied the brakes and had to go between two cars. i hit the side of one car. this problem occurs most of the time. it is very dangorous since normal stopping distance is suddenly increased and there is nothing i can do when it happens. i have had it in the shop about 6 times.  view

On several occasions the shift assembly would stick in the park position, mechanic replaced shifter and stated that liquid or juice caused interlock release to stick, consumer investigated and found a faulty solenoid.  view

On several occasions consumer has problems with inserting key into ignition switch, at times the key is hard to get out and the ignition switch will not line up to insert key, consumer states that on one occasion, the vehicle started by itself.  view

After the vehicle was parked, the consumer saw smoke coming from under the hood, consumer opened the hood and saw fire, consumer states that the fire was caused by the part that controls the heater underneath the dashboard.  view

I've been through 3 fuel pumps since i've owned this motorcycle. this problm was never resolve while it was under warranty and now i'm about to go through my 4th fuel pump at my experience.  view

Driving at a speed of 65 mph when another car cut me off i had to brake and hit the guardrail head on, and the airbagsdid not deploy. when i called hyundai to complain they told me that due to the cost of airbags they put it in a certain place where you have to hit it for the airbag to deploy. the odd fact was that i had a head on collision if i had not had my seatbelt on i would have gone through the windshield.  view
