1983 RENAULT ALLIANCE User Comment / Complaint

Due to the location of cup holders spillage from cups get into gear shift. dealer has been notified. the consumer stated that due to design and location of the cup holder any spill of liquids gets into the gear shift area causing the gear shift to get hard and also, hard to remove key from ignition when the transmission was in park. engine leaks oil due to rocker arm cover failure.  view

While driving 50 mph extreme vibrations occurs, cause unknown. front passenger door lock broke. consumer stated there was a rattle in the dash. consumer attached administrative number vss20010150 which states that some customers comment on shaking/vibration in steering wheel, floor, or seat, it also states to inspect missing balance weights, and tires, possibly tire related.  view

Daughter slid out from underneath the booster seat during a frontal accident with a deer. cosco 02424 lex, manufacter date 11-30-99.  view

Car keep stopping and dying, the plenums (fuel injector) that melted and had to be replaced.  view

Consumer stated the gas pedal will stick in cold weather or when vehicle is cold, consumer would have to push or kick pedal before moving..  view

While driving at 35 mph brakes locked up and vehicle started to pull to right.consumer found it difficult to control vehicle. contacted dealer.  view

Transmission was slipping. took vehicle to dealer, and they pulled out and rebuilt transmission. then, reinstalled it. next day while driving at highway speeds driver heard a loud banging noise under car. driver pulled over and vehicle caught on fire.  view
