Multiple elect. problems with car: (3) alternators, wire harness(#12), replaced main computer, (3) map sensors, (1) o2 sensor, cruise control inoperable  view

This is a know part failure for all 1999.5-2001 volkswagens. no safety defect listed.  view

The window regulators are a known problem and volkswagen of america will not issue a recall.i've had 2 fail on me with in a years time. i now fear the window will not roll back up whenever i roll my windows down.  view

Drivers seatbelt will not retract always and the seatbelt with be loose and unsafe.  view

When gear shift lever is put all the way into park positioning, sometimes vehicle will not indicate it is in any gear at all. there is a square which surrounds the p, d, n, etc. on the gear indicator, and none of them will be outlined. in addition to sometimes not indicating the car is in gear, it can be in a different gear than indicated. it can say it is in drive but when accelorator is depressed the vehicle does not go anywhere. it simply revs as if it is in neutral. i consider this a safety problem as the vehicle could roll over my small children if i think it is in park but it actually isn't. the vehilce has been in for repair 3 times and i am told this happens but there is no repair for the problem.  view

Was involved in a head-on collison and air bags did not deploy at 25-30 mph.  view

While driving noticed inside of vehicle would overheat up to 120 degrees. this caused driver's legs to become very red. had taken vehicle to dealership, and was informed by mechanic that problem was okay in the beginning. went back to dealership, and was informed that problem lies with way vehicle was built. there was nothing that could be done. vehicle was leased.  view

While driving windshield shakes and makes loud wind noise. took vehicle to dealer. please provide any further information.  view
