Pe00 040/tread failure: while driving at hwy speed of 65 mph in a 2000 ford, excursion; original equipment, tire size lt 265/75r16, dot# vnwsix000. left rear tire separated and wrapped around rear axle, driver and three passenger were in vehicle at that time. firestone was notified, and informed consumer that tire was not covered under a recall. feel free to provide any further information concerning this matter.  view
