1985 TOYOTA TOYOTA MOTORHOME User Comment / Complaint

Front passenger and driver rear seat belts failed to work properly. driver rear failed to release enough to be used. passenger's front seat belt kept locking up without passenger using it.  view

Circuit breaker had burned while driving. prior to problem generator light had came on, and voltage regulator went very low. vehicle had stopped dead.  view

Would be driving at various speeds when brakes would lock up without being applied. problem would happen at any time. could smell brakes burning. had mechanic look at brakes, and they were completely overhauled. had an accident previously when brakes locked up. currently, brakes being repaired again after being test driven & and locking up on mwchanic.  view

Was driving vehicle approximately 35mph and had rear ended another vehicle when brakes had locked. upon impact with other vehicle, air bags failed to deploy.  view

While pulling into driveway at slow speed heard a loud noise from front of vehicle. had vehicle towed to dealer, who determined that weld holding lower control arm on driver's side had broken.  view

There is a coolant leak in engine because an inferior form of rubber sealant is used on engine. coolant goes back into engine. contacted dealer, and dealer stated they knew about leak and its a frequent problem, but not under warranty. the head had to be replaced due to this problem, the problem is a rubberized gasket, known as the timing case profile gasket.  view

Cosco, model # 02870 ebg, dom 02-24-2000; while raising shield to put child in seat left arm broke where it attaches to seat. no injuries.  view
