Tires are worn excessively, all 4 tires affected. tires according to goodyear should last between 20000 and 40000 miles. goodyear eagle tires, dot nk43bmdr199, 17 inch tires, consumer states spare tire is also worn. goodyear states that tires are not the problem, vehicle has vibration and pulls to the left, could be suspension or tire related. engine failed due to pistons too close together, consumer states ever since vehicle has been repaired, it does not run normal now. rotors were replaced, brakes resurfaced.  view

I have been driving my camry for 6 years , i have to change the idle air control valve every three years. this failure caused from manufacture defect. the dealer replaced the original one at the first time in 1997. it happened again in this year, but the toyota customer service refused to replace it again. for that idle air control valve, i have to use the toyota parts, because there was not any compatible parts it could fit in. i think this is not fair for the customers to pay for this manufacture defect parts. either the toyota should pay for it or the toyota should improve this parts. customers should not pay for it.  view

On may22 a tire separated. goodyear was notified, an other failed on october 3. tire was adjusted at goodyear dealer. october 22, the tire separated on the freeway at night. the tred separated and flew into the highway. we were traveling with 2 small children, a young mother, and 2 senior citizens, plus a very valuable junior rodeo horse. a friend came by and helped us get off the highway. goodyear was notified on september 7, 2000 that these tires were malfunctioning, and did not disclose to us that this was a common occurrence. they were told that we haul. horses and children, and chose to keep it a secret. these children have suffered a terrible trauma being out on the freeway with this tire failing and causing a terrible noise when it hit the fender, causing damage to it. this is a very scary thing. goodyear advertises that their tires are safe for families. not true. These tires are installed on a four horse gooseneck horse trailer. the recommended infation pressure is 75psi. at the time of the tire's tread separation all four tires were inflated at 60psi. the trailer was not overloaded and due to signs of wear on the middle of the tread pattern i only infalted them to 60psi. a local goodyear dealer measured the tire with 6/32 of tread remaining. i have had no other problems with the other three tires other than an uneven wear pattern similar to the one that failed. please advise me on the next steps that should be taken to replace these tires. fortunately there was no damage or injury to livestock or persons with the failure of this one tire. i do not wish to take that chance again. i am aware that this model of goodyear tire is currently under some type of investigation for the same reasons i have experienced. Truck pulls when braking. tbs fix implemented with little to no improvement. last time at dealer, dealer said gmc has problem with 3/4ton suburban brakes but doesn't have fix. nothing he can do. truck has had combination valve replaced, rear shoes replaced, front pads replaced (5x total), calipers replaced, rotors replaced, tie rods replaced, idle arm replaced, steering box and pitman arm replaced, front brake hoses replaced, control arm bushings replaced, and aligned several times with no fix to the problem. braking at highway speeds it is very dangerous. you don't know which way the vehicle will go and how hard it will try to get there. as an engine designer i find it amazing that gm has a handling/safety issue of this magnitude. this is a big truck to have such a controlability problem. please help. a shaull  view

Have been driving for over 40 years. have never had brake pads wear out this fast. belive there must be a problem with the abs braking system, but unable to get ford to help with this problem. the ford dealer told me that ford sent out a letter to its dealers about premature pad failure at 12000 miles but would not give me a copy of this notice. when i called ford all they would tell me is that the pads were not covered under the warranty . i don't seem to be able to get any more info from fords are the dealer. keep gitting the run around. thanks for any help you can give me.  view
