1988 DODGE ARIES User Comment / Complaint

I took my suv to the service depart on may 30 because the key wouldn't come out of the ignition. i am the 2nd one to report it. i am still waiting on the part for it. now, it's 4 more after me who is having the problem. they didn't wanted to provide me with a rental car until i got my lawyer involve. please have this as a recall. i just received a letter on the fuel pressure regulator, and they don't have the part for that either. also i bought my car may 00 and had to replace all 4 tires in march 01. they were bridgestone tires. i told the service depart about them and told me they couldn't do anything about them. i had to get a front inlinement 2 times before i change my tires.  view

Brakes worn, rotors scored, dealer turned rotors, in august 2000 dealer replaced rotors, now june 2001 brakes and rotors bad again. dealer says not a problem with car, lucky i'm getting that much use out of the brakes.  view

Same as nhtsa compain number 98v234000. nissan of brandon acknwleged there was a recall, but there was nothing they could do for me since my vin was not included in the recall. i was instructed to call 1-800-nissan1. after some runaround, i was told there was nothing nissan could do since my vin number was not included in the original recall. they did not seem interested that the safety problem identified in nhtsa compain number 98v234000 may be affecting more vehicles than originally thought.  view

Consumer was driving at approximately 70 mph and approaching an entrance ramp for interstate and another vehicle was entering interstate and was heading directly towards consumer's vehicle. consumer could not move into next lane. inched over into next lane, then all of a sudden, vehicle was absolutely uncontrollable, and rolled down the interstate atleast 2 times, landing up right. upon examination, there was a 2 inch tear along sidewall of left rear firestone tire. there were approximately 14,349 miles on the tires. firestone wilderness at tires, p255/70r16, dot vncu1px060, there were 3 injuries in the accident.  view

Evenflo model 2091a7p1, dom 03/24/1999. child almost flipped out of seat if it was not for seatbelt holding child to seat. consumer felt it was a result of handle.  view

While driving at slow speed fuel tank fell off, 1 strap was gone, other had broken.  view

Emergency brake shoes are wearing out faster than they should, to the point where consumer can't use emergency brake . the inside drum area of the rotors was rusting causing premature brake shoe failure.  view
