1994 DODGE VIPER User Comment / Complaint

I have contacted you to complain about the poor service i have received from numerous ford dealerships in my area. i am a ford windstar owner as well. as i proceeded to complain through the internet site of "ford" i found that it is very difficult to find a customer service link. i am unhappy with my purchase of this mini-van as well as angered by the difficulty of reachihng a customer service link. i work hard and have very little time to complain, but when i go to complain it is more hassle than help. my van also has had problems with the anti-lock brake system since day one, in which has also been a concurring problem. pllease help me keep my sanity. all i would like out of this complaint is for my surrounding area at least to have better customer service--a response to a question within a time range of 5minutes, not a half hour per call. thank you for your attention. ed.  view

While driving front passenger's side torsion bar broke, causing front fender to lower onto front wheel. dealer has been cotnacted.  view

The speed sensor has failed twice in the past three months, consumer states when this fails, the vehicle can not be driven above 45 mph.  view

One of consumers firestone tires started coming loose while driving on interstate, consumer drove directly to tire dealer and upon inspection found that two other tires were also starting to come apart and he replaced all three, once the consumer heard abot recall 00t-005 he was denied replacement tires. nlm  view

Horn failed the first week of owning vehicle, ford refuses to fix the problem and states the defect is not covered under warranty.  view

Consumer received recall 00v189, however in 1999 the repair was completed by someone other than gm, consumer submitted bill for refund and was denied due to the replacement parts were not gm parts.  view

Brakes replaced.  view

Consumer replaced all four firestone wilderness at tires (p235/75r15) due to tread separation, however ford denied request for recall reimbursement(00t005) due to the replacement tires being purchased from a competitive retailer prior to august 9, 2000.  view

Engine check light came on. took vehicle to dealer, and dealer claimed that head gasket and timing cover were leaking. this was the same problem as recalled in 1993 and 1994 in recall 99v318000.  view
