1982 PEUGEOT 505 User Comment / Complaint

Vehicle stalls and dies at traffic lights, consumer thinks its a design flaw in distributor mounted tfi-1v module. customer states that the manufacturer should be make to correct the design flaw.  view

Crankshaft broke at front of engine. ford oasis report, ssm 04925, acknowledges problem and states it's due to initial over tension of engine accessory belts at assembly.  view

All four of these tires are separating at tread and sidewall. a firestone dealer inspected them (yuddy's in portsmouth, nh) and told me they were all splitting. however, they don't want to help me and get in the middle. maybe because i already bought four tires elsewhere. i still have the tires, and need to turn them in somewhere and get re-imbursement. these tires need to be added to your list as well. (dot number: vdhl hla tiresize: p235/75r15)  view

Brakes are wearing out excessively & deteriorating. whenever brakes are applied, they cause vehicle to shake. took vehicle to dealer & mechanic changed pads & warped rotors. also rotated & cleaned the brakes. rear seat belt lock is too high. air conditioner draining on floor, dealer cleaned a/c drain. consumer feels a hard shock when shifting into gear. engine hard to start, dealer replaced the flywheel. binding lever failed on the parking brake.  view

While driving with windshield wipers on, they could quit working. headlights could be on, then turn off.  view

Consumer was traveling about 22mph on a side road. there were vehicles parked ahead of her vehicle. consumer applied brakes, and vehicle slid into them. upon impact, airbags went off, driver and passenger were hurt.  view

Vehicle stalls in heavy traffic. within 15 minutes vehicle was able to restart. taken to the dealer and informed consumer that the problem was due to a poor connection, repairs made.  view
