1992 BMW 750 User Comment / Complaint

Recall 96v-071 (ford 95s28) was originally repaired on 12/2/97. vehicle is now experiencing a similar problem. dealer will not honor recall repair, and consumer is beng charged for expense of installing another new ignition switch.  view

All four tires are wearing out excessively around the edges. middle of tires are doing fine. vehicle was checked due to the right tire failing to maintain air. no leaks were found. ford dealer will not exchange the tires. indicated not on recall. firestone retailer indicated the same. tires has 50,000 miles on a 1998 ford ranger. p235/75r15. the tires were not on recall, according to the dealer. but these tires were cracking around the tread just like those on recall.  view

Vehicle had a cracked battery that caused acid to leak all over the engine and corroded the coolant reservoir.  view

Firestone wilderness at tire (p255 70 r16) experienced a blowout, tire was extremely hot, consmer is requesting a full reimbursement.  view

Would be driving vehicle when it would stop suddenly without warning. was at gas station & had turned vehicle off & put fuel in vehicle. had tried to restart vehicle which did not start. took to dealer. fuel pump would go into a vapor lock. fuel is not getting to proper channels. fuel pump has been replaced twice for same problem.  view

Was traveling 50mph & had heard a noise. started to have shaking in the steering wheel. stopped vehicle & checked tires. left front tire was flat & the tread had separated & was shredded. had to get tire replaced, but did not have tire. tires were not the original tires on the jeep cherokee. firestone atx, 0235/75rf15 with 20,000 miles on a 1989 jeep, cherokee. firestone replaced the three tires at no charge to customer.  view

Fuel gauge did not register the correct amount of fuel. this could cause the vehicle to run out of fuel. fuel sending unit was replaced in april of 99 because of this problem. volkswagen refused to address the current situation. the cause could be a loose wire according to the owner.  view
