1988 PLYMOUTH RELIANT User Comment / Complaint

Consumer is losing traction on wet pavement, feels like vehicle wants to slide. the wheel were about to fall of shaking bad at high speed due to loose and missing lug nuts. strut is leaking. defective tire 235/45/17( no make/model of tire provide) causing vibration, drifting and sliding. bent wheels replaced causing vibration. cradle were too short causing the vehicle to creak when turning.  view

This is the worst new car i have ever seen, very poor quality. the dealer has looked at the transmission problem 4 times, says car is being driven wrong. banging noise happens in first and second gears, windshield seal is bad, vibrates and cracks in cold weather, both problems reported to suzuki.  view

I am told by the local dealer that the transmissions in the astros are being replaced almost on a daily basis. i was told by the dealer that it is "poor engineering" that is why they have changed the transmission in the 2000 models. i would like to know how many complaints you have had on the transmissions and at what point in time do they make a recall. please feel free to contact me. the chevy customer service line could not help me at all!!!!!  view

The subject right rear tire came apart when the tread separated from the casing.( dot number: wzhh awb tire size: p225/75r15 )  view

The gas gauge reads 3/4 full when the tank is actually 1/2 full. the gauge reads 1/2 full when actually 1/4 full. gauge reads 1/4 full when empty. pontiac is aware of the problem but will not correct it, of remedy it for customers. pontiac should remove gas gauge from dash board since the system is this faulty.  view

While driving 30mph steering wheel became stuck. was not able to steer & maintain control of vehicle. put on hazards. managed to stop vehicle & then had pushed vehicle to nearby mechanic. was informed that serpentine belt had broken due to being defective.  view
