1989 FORD FIESTA User Comment / Complaint

Pe# 00020; both front tire need to be replaced w/ only 30k miles. consumer was experiencing an alignment problem, and firestone dealer had advised that the belts were separating in tires and needed to be replaced. tire size was p235/75r15, firestone wilderness ht. t tires were replacement tires for a ford truck, explorer.  view

While driving fuel neck came apart. hose had rapped around rear axle. there was no prior warning. dealership replaced fuel neck under consumer's cost. new replacement was very different from previous fuel neck.  view

The computer that is in my car is new for this model, and this year. no other car has it in there. what is happening is that while driving down the road, the computer gets overloaded with information, and pukes with a b0100 error. the dealership tried the other 2001. it had the same problem. they tried three other 2001's that the southern dealership owned. they had the same problem. there are other dealerships also having this same problem with the 2001 chevrolet impala airbags.  view

Brakes fail at low speeds; pedal goes all the way to the floor without stopping car. this is accompanied by a groaning sound. persistent problem, reported repeatedly to two volvo dealer service shops since september 1997, without satisfactory repair or resolution.  view

This incident has occurred twice. once under dry conditions and once under wet conditions. the most recent incident is described here. while approaching a stop sign during a storm, i applied the brakes as i crossed a rough patch of pavement. at this time i felt the brake system skip or fail briefly until i was able to reapply pressure to the pedal. i have noted other rodeo owner complaints about abs problems on the net and have decided to contact you. i have not notified the dealer yet but plan to on my next service call.  view

When consumer started vehicle the first time it cut off. vehicle started to shake and just shut down on the highway. when she applied brakes pedal went all the way down to the floor. also,there was no engine. she took vehicle to the dealership.  view

Original equipment on a toyota, camry 1999, p20565r15, dot acur2v1059. tires wore down within 14000 miles, consumer raised a concern on tires wearing out so fast.  view

Vehicle was involved in a t-bone frontal collision which caused vehicle to spin several times and hit the medium strip and a pole at a impact of 60-65 mph. upon impact, both frontal and side air bags did not deploy.  view
