1995 GMC C SERIES(LIGHT) User Comment / Complaint

A 10 inch piece of rubber blew out the side of tire on a trip to virgina. my wife was driving the truck and the tire blew at 70mph. she was able to get the truck stopped without a crash. a state trooper came and changed the tire. she took the tire to a firestone dealer and they acted like the tire blowing out was no big deal. i think it is!!! being 600 miles from home all she could do was buy a new tire, but the dealer made sure that they kept the tire that blew out. i wonder why!!!!!( dot number: tire size: 16in. )  view

Vehicle is experiencing problems with the electrical system and wiring harness. consumer has purchased vehicle a week ago, and within 4 days vehicle was taken to dealer. dealer has since kept vehicle with no remedy. periodically, the power windows did not work. airbag light would come on and off, and air conditioner would not work. also, vehicle had a gas fume smell after vehicle would not start.  view

Pe-00-020 - tire size p23575r15, dot number not available. tires were replaced under firestone recall, tires had less then 100 miles on them. when driving on the highway at 50 mph, right passenger's side rear tire suddenly deflated without prior warning which caused driver to lose control. tire was inspected, and was determined that tire was developing cracks/started to separate at sidewall. tires were replaced at rochester auto in webster new york 716-787-1700.  view

Pe00 020; consumer was inspecting tires and found cracks all around sidewalls of tires. cracks were getting bigger. firestone, wilderness#at, 2p2375r15, #dot w2. there was no imjuries at this time, and contacted firestone.  view

Was traveling about 35mph on a side street and a deer ran in front of vehicle, and rolled up onto the vehicle, and rolled by down to the ground. sensor went off and module light came on. but, airbags didn't deploy, and vehicle's front was smashed in. consumer stated that that dealership was aware of the problem.  view
