1995 GMC C SERIES(LIGHT) User Comment / Complaint

When towing trailer will sway uncontrollably when being passed by another vehicle or by wind. manufacturer has been notified about this problem. nothing was done about the situation. consumer has corrected the problem by installing a hensley arrow towing hitch. one of the primary causes of the trailer sway is insufficient trailer hitch weight. the fact that all heavy items are put behind the axles could induce more severe sway.  view

Evo sensor within the steering system has no warning light or indication as to when the sensor may malfunction. please give any further details.  view

I don't feel safe driving this car. they refused to give me a new car in the beginning when they had to weld the pillar post to the frame. my car has overheated many times until they found the broke radiator. the transmission has gone out and was just fixed and the car now has a firewall rattle. the brakes rotors were warped. they would not stand behind them. it would be my cost to reapir them. they are still warped. this car had to have a new windshield put in also. 4 radio, two rear speakers, belt tension pulley,oil level sensor, u joints,alternator, radiator cap,lumbar support repaired 5 times. this car has other problems also. it is in the shop more than i have it. i am disabled and bought the car to have a nice looking dependable car. i bought a junk that had a sticker price of 28-29,000. thank you for you help. chris gallagher 770 719-9754  view

Front bumper skirt catches on parking space blocks at the head of parking spaces. this has pulled the bumper off and twisted it. i was not previously aware of a problem like this or forewarned about it by the salesman or manufacturer. i would not have bought this particular model had i known. parking the car safely in my parking lot (or any lot) is made much more difficult by this problem.  view

Engine suddenly running very rough and engine check light on. dealer investigation showed coolant leak on coil pack 4. coil pack removed and replaced and hose clamp tightened. repair was not done as a defect although many other vehicles have had the same problem.  view

Automatic seat belt suddenly releases in multiple situations: upon sudden stops, while driving at verious speeds, going over "small" bumps in road. someimes automatic seatbelt won't engage upon shutting door. prior to this the seat belt had the opposite problem...since 1991 seatbelt occasionally tightened and pinned driver to the seat needing to be released by the emergency release button..  view

December 1999, air bag light stays on, dealer replaces air bag clock spring. extended chrysler warranty does not cover repair cost of $270. july 18, 2000 return to dealer air bag light stays on. dealer says the clock spring is ok but now the air bag module has failed and they need to replace the whole air bag system cost estimated at $600 plus. decline the work and complain to chrysler. chrysler says it is not covered beyond 36,000 miles. what does mileage have to do with a air bag, it is not a maintenance item? i explain this is a safety item and my family is in danger. chrysler discusses with supervisor and refuses to cover the repair. please call me as i would like the nhtsa to have chrysler to issue a vehicle recall for this safety item. thank you!.  view

Both front brake rotors are corroded/pitted. repairs being made at independent repair shop. the vehicle failed inspection due to the problem ( brake rotors corroding).  view

Pe-00-020; original equipment on a 2000, mazda, b2500 tire size p22570r15. tires have 12 thousand miles on them, dot number not available. consumer has noticed left rear tire had developed a hair line crack around the entire tire on the inside and the outside. consumer tires was inspected.  view
