1993 GMC C7 User Comment / Complaint

While driving vehicle shimmied for no reason. took vehicle to dealership. was placed on hoist. mechanic indicated steel belts inside 2 of the tires were busted. took the tires to tire dealership & the same information was given,but no replacement. general royal master xp2000 p225/75r15 all season tires.  view

Consumer had a front end collison and air bags did not deploy. driver/passenger sustained injuries. at the time of front end collision the hood came in through windsheild on right side. seat belt failed in rear which is holding child's seat. back rest on left back seat came loose.  view

Replaced orginal master cylinder with rebuilt ford master cylinder at approx. 100,000 miles, 8/9/97. replaced rebuilt master cylinder with another ford rebuilt master cylinder 3/15/1999. replaced brake computer and dump valve july-aug. 1999. replaced master cylinder with yet another ford rebuilt master cylinder (under warranty)...failed on feb. 27, 2000. auto mechanic pulls newly rebuilt master cylinders from boxes and they do not work. currently, am awaiting arrival of new ford master cylinder, in attempt to correct problem. since these parts were under warranty by ford, i feel they should compensate mechanic for wasted time of replacing constantly defective parts. mechanic has worked with ford rep in attempt to resolve problems. as of today, van has been in shop for 4 weeks (excluding weekend when it failed again). main family transportation to a family of 7.  view

I am having a problem with my dome light and door adjar chime. problem has been repaired twice by ford dealer and am now having same problem again. chime and dome light will stay on even though the drivers side door is closed. as for the passenger side, the dome light stays on, even though the door is closed. had to pull fuse to stop chime noise. unfortunately, when i do that i have np windshield wipers. dealer now wants me to pay to have this problem fixed again. after reading about all the other 1995 ford rangers that have the same problem, i want the nhtsa to demand a recall from ford and fix these problems correctly once and for all.  view

Although i have stated my vehicle was going at a low mph, the vehicle that hit my back passanger side was going at about 45 mph for impact, at which point my car was sent spinning around, and both airbags did not deploy. my car was still running when it came to a stop and i had to manually shut it off.  view
