1993 GMC C7 User Comment / Complaint

While depressing the brakes on wet road vehicle swerves and makes it difficult to maintain control. also abs indicator light flashes on. dealer was not able to find the problem, and manufacturer has yet to find a solution.  view

Windshield wipers will quit working during operation intermittently, causing poor visibility. vehicle is not included in recall#98v15001 due to vin although has the same defect.  view

Consumer received manufacturer's recall 7567/ fuel pump. vehicle was leaking gasoline, and consumer smelled gasoline inside and outside of garage. smell is still there. dealership replaced it twice.  view

I received a recall letter saturday, stating that the airbag could deploy without warning. they won't fix it for 6 months! this is absurd. i have 1 in 2000 chances of experiencing this defect. i want to disconnect it until the parts come in but two dealerships i contacted said they couldn't! that is even more absurd. tell me what to do now!  view

Right seatback support bracket for drivers bucket seat broke due to fatigue crack. left seatback support bracket cracked 1/4 inch at this time.  view

I was filling a five gallon metal gasoline can while it was setting in the bed of the truck on the plastic bedliner. when i started to remove the pump nozzle from the can a static electricity spark ignited the can. i was burned on face, hands and arms. i had second degree burns on hands and arms. the truck was totaled as well. i purchased another 1995 ford f-150 to replace it. the dealer, al white ford, placed a sticker in the rear window warning of this hazard. the dealer said this is the result of instructions from ford. it is gratifying that education efforts have been implimented.  view

Auto repair center tells me this is very common! no safety defect listed in the summary.  view

Consumer opened hood and noticed battery acid was leaking on a/c cable. dealer has been notified. please provide further information.  view

Passenger's side retractor does not work properly. dealer has been contacted.  view

1. when going over minor bumps consumer can hear rear leaf springs hit against each other, metal to metal sound; 2. when accelerating, consumer can hear a valve noise.  view
