1987 BMW 528 User Comment / Complaint

The weld on the top support broke, causing the seat to go back when applying brakes, has not taken in for repair because dealer insists that it is not under warranty.  view

Steering failure, coupling assembly has a universal joint and between the assembly there is sliding shaft that has movement which causes the vehicle not to steer correctly and pull to the right or left while driving.  view

Drove vehicle at speed 25mph, vehicle went into open throttle position, rpms unknown, impact 12:00 position, in for repair failure unknown.  view

Right headlight has consumed moisture that could inadvertently cause the bulb to blow out or a short circuit. water inside lens lessens the brightness of the headlight. gm says that all their lights leak, but that they will dry up from the heat inside.  view

The window moulding on the driver's and passenger's side windows is clipped on. the window moulding is not bolded on sercurely. about 2 or 3 years ago while driving the moulding on windshield came off and hit the windshield. the problem was reported to the dealer/manufacturer .the problem has not been corrected.  view

Throttle cracked open when driving at 45mph, let off the gas pedal and vehicle would not lock down. dealer contacted and will remedy the problem at owners expense, provide further information.  view

Consumer complained that manfacturer's warranty of 12000 miles on the rotors are not condsidered to be normal for consumer to replace them. dealer/manufacturer was notified and refused to repair or replace unless cost goes was covered by the consumer. consumer states taht the rotors rusted, causing violent shaking on the front wheels and shaking of the dash and steering wheel, consumer was told this occurred due to a design problem.  view

Consumer expriencing on going problem with transmission jumping out of gear intermittently. vehicle been in/out dealer shop on five occasions and problem still occurs. dealer/mfr. notified. the front right spring failed. the relay rod and the camber malfunctions.  view
