2006 TOYOTA TUNDRA User Comment / Complaint

I have a 2006 toyota tundra, the strutt on my front right suspension broke off at the weld where it is attatched to the lower mount. this is not a typical for a non off road vehicle. I see that there is no recalls on this subject. I am not a professional auto mechanic, but I am knowledgeable on the functionality of vehicle mechanics and Im also a welder by trade. The dealership states that there is no recall on this therefore will not write up a claim. I have had other mechanics look at my vehicle and they agree this is not typical and should contact my attorney. I would like to give Toyota another chance. Does anyone have another avenue I should take? Thank you.
