2005 DODGE CARAVAN User Comment / Complaint

Clunking noise over bumps. dealer reports bad sway arm bushings, vehicle has 36 month 36000 miles bumper to bumper warranty. i am 7 weeks out of warranty and have 30,900 miles and dealer and dodge refuse to cover .157.08 out of my pocket it is my understanding this is a common problem.

Join the group.!! Chrysler only warranties the stuff that doesn't wear out. Stabilizer bushings AND stabilizer bars that wear thin at 50,000 miles are on their no fix list. I'd suggest the ones with grease fittings to protect the bar. I didn't do this and now I have to fit a sleeve over the bar and replace the bushings again.

My front sway bar bushings were replaced in 11/2007 after 83k.
I have 7 year, 100,000 mile warranty so I paid 97.53 to replace in Pennsylvania.
