We purchased a used 2005 Crossfire last August. Found the same issue on both door handles. In that the pealing is next to the door and not exposed to the person sitting in that seat I tried just sanding the handles. Worked for me. Another suggestion would be to wrap the handle in some sort of flexible tape that matches the color of the interior. We may to that in the future but for now the sanding has worked for us. Good luck.

The metal wrapping of the interior driver's side door grip has separated on the inside and is pealing, exposing the sharp edge of the metal. as a result, i cut three (3) of my fingers, which required nine (9) stitches, three (3) in each finger. the passenger side is also beginning to separate and peal.  view
