2002 DODGE NEON User Comment / Complaint

well, my children each had a neon-2002. what pieces of crap. my son's at 33000 had ti get a new tranny and it was used when he bought it. dodge wanted to do nothing. so; after replacing the tranny, 3000 miles later had had to get rid of it. shocks, struts,tie rod ends and tires all the time. my daughter unfortunately still has hers....nothing but trouble. replaced tranny right after 60000, replaced radiator due to lines breaking at 40000, and had to replace 2 front end parts that was a cost of $500. not the tie rod, or idler arm. it was further up in; but don't think we didn't have to replace tires all the time and tie rod end, idler arm and cv joint. these cars should have never been allowed on the road. they were a cheap car to buy; but not to fix; which was all the time. trade in value sucks and don't wreck in one. i am so glad they no longer make these pieces of crap. i cannot believe that dodge would put out a product like that. shameful
