2001 GMC SIERRA 2500 HD User Comment / Complaint

agian GMC passing the buck to save a buck.. mine also failed at 6k miles and agian at 12 k and now at 20k. total failure.. nothing no help from them. paid 40k for a truck that never gets used, rarely driven NEVER HAULED ANYTHING excpt my ass and groceries, and yet wont stop.. GM QUALITY AT ITS BEST.. they willonly fix it if someone dies and sues them.. my brakes have never worked right after many times to the dealer and total replacement 2X and now going on 3.. they claim there is no problemm with these rucks yet after tearing the frint end apart the first time found no grease in the inside bearings, and poor quality steel in the rotors (which had to be replaced also) GOOD GM QUALITY..! if your brakes buzz and pull either way, replace the bearings (probably shot) BTW $150 each for the bearings and aporx another $150 labor depending.. and they wont last. anyone have comments email me directly..scg13803@yahoo.com

2001 2500hd disc brake rotors rusted and had to be replaced. the vehicle failed a safety inspection an the consumer had to have all four rotors and wheel pads replaced. there was no indication ( chatter, vibration or jerking) of a problem prior to the vehicle being taken for inspection. the consumer requested assistance from the manufacturer but was denied.  view
