Refrigerator Problems Force Motor Home Recall

Domestic Corporation has announced that they are recalling certain refrigerators used in motor homes and 5th wheel campers. They stated that the refrigerators have a defect that causes pressurized coolant to release. If there is a gas flame present, this could result in a deadly fire.

Subaru to Recall R2 Vehicles

Subaru’s Parent company Fuji Heavy Industries, has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the R2, R1 and and other 660cc vehicles manufactured between November 2003 and July 2007 sold in Japan. They stated they have faulty gluing of anti vibration rubber that could cause the engine to cut out. No accident shave been reported as of yet.

2009 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN Recall

Volkswagen is recalling certain models of the 2008 Passat and the 2009 Tiguan passenger vehicles equipped with 2.0T FSI ULEV II engines. These vehicles have an engine control module (ECM) containing software that may not properly control engine idle with the air conditioning turned on. In rare cases, the ECM may unexpectedly increase engine RPM.

Polaris To Recall 2008 550 LX

Polaris Industries has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the 2008 550 LX Trail Touring and Trail Touring Deluxe snowmobiles. They stated that cracks could form in the starter ring gear and cause the ring gear to fracture into several peices. The peices could be propelled out of the chasis at high speed causing serious injury or death to the rider and or bystanders.

2006 TOYOTA SIENNA Recall

Toyota is conducting a safety improvement campaign involving certain models of the 2004-2006 Toyota Sienna vehicles equipped with power rear lift gate struts. The gas struts used to help lift and support the rear power lift gate could wear out sooner than expected. As the gas struts deteriorate, the performance of the lift gate will begin to degrade and the power rear lift gate will operate more slowly than when the gas struts were new.
