2002 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE Recall

K2 Motor is recalling 1,921 aftermarket headlamps of various models sold for use on the 2002 Volkswagen Beetle. These headlamps are missing the amber side reflex reflector which fails to conform with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard No. 108, “Lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment”.

2009 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN Recall

Volkswagen is recalling certain models of the 2008 Passat and the 2009 Tiguan passenger vehicles equipped with 2.0T FSI ULEV II engines. These vehicles have an engine control module (ECM) containing software that may not properly control engine idle with the air conditioning turned on. In rare cases, the ECM may unexpectedly increase engine RPM.

Volkswagen recalls 2,440 Chinese manufactured cars

The reason for the recall was due to the discovery of some problems present in the automatic locking systems

German auto giant Volkswagen on Friday said it was recalling 2,440 Passat model cars produced in Shanghai because of faults in the boot-locking system.

The faulty locking systems were installed in Passat 2.0 and 1.8T models manufactured from August 11 to August 24

Volkswagen Headlight Recall

Volkswagen will start recalling 340,000 cars in the U.S. at the end of October to fix headlights that cannot be aligned properly, increasing the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The recall includes the Volkswagen Jetta from model years 2005-’08 and the 2006-’08 Volkswagen GTI, Rabbit and R32 models.
