Ford has announced that they are recalling certain models of the 1995 through 2003 Windstar, 2000 through 2003 Excursion, 1993 through 1997 and 1999 through 2003 F Super Duty, 1992 through 2003 Econoline, 1995 through 2002 Explorer and Mercury Mountainer, 1995 through 1997 and 2001 through 2003 Ranger, and 1994 F53 vehicles

Ford has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the 2009 4×2 Rangers. They stated that some front wheel spindles were improperly manufactured creating the risk that a spindle may fracture during the normal useful life of the truck.
