2008 NISSAN QUEST Recall

Nissan is recalling 1,126 2008 Quest, Titan, and Armada vehicles equipped with manual adjustment front seats. These vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle safety standard NO. 207, “seating systems”. The seat track assembly may have been manufactured out of specification.

Bicycle Racks on the Nissan and Infiniti Recalled

Nissan North America, Inc., a unit of Japan’s Nissan Motors, said Wednesday that it and Infiniti are conducting a voluntary recall campaign on 480 Hitch Mounted Bicycle Racks manufactured by Thule and sold at both Nissan and Infiniti dealerships before December 21, 2007.

2007 Nissan Altima Recall

Nissan North America, INC. announced that they will be recalling certain models of the 2007 Nissan Altima. They stated that on certain passenger vehicles that have had the body control module (BCM) replaced during service at a dealership, the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) may have been inadvertently deactivated due to an issue with the dealer service software.

2008 Nissan Exterra - Brake Problem Recall

Nissan North America, INC. announced this week they will be recalling certain models of the 2008 Nissan Xterra. They stated that on certain continental automotive ABS and ESC control modules sold for installation on the vehicles listed above. Some of the hydraulic valves in the ESC module were built with extra check balls.

Nissan recalls free mugs, not cars

TOKYO: Japanese auto giant Nissan said Friday that it would recall thousands of free mugs it gave away in Japan this year, owing to fears they could make people ill.
