Ford Motor Co. is recalling about 100,000 2008 F-Series trucks in Canada and the United States because the front driver’s seat does not conform with strength standards for seat backs.

Ford Motor Company has announced that they will be recalling certain models of the 2007 Ford F150. They stated that certain headlamp assemblies imported and sold as after market equipment by sonar auto parts for use on 2004 through 2007 Ford F150 pickup trucks.

Auto Recalls Increase in 2007

Automakers recalled nearly 15 million vehicles for repairs at dealerships last year, the government reported Thursday, an increase of about 30 percent over 2006.
Automakers issued 588 separate recalls involving 14.5 million vehicles in 2007, or about 30 percent more vehicles than the previous year, according to data released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. In 2006, the industry recalled 11.2 million vehicles as part of 490 individual recalls.

Ford Motor Company announced they will be recalling certain models of the 2002 Ford Excursion. They stated that on certain heavy duty trucks equipped with the 7.3 l diesel engine, the camshaft position sensor located on the engine of the vehicle may function interminably, possible resulting in an engine stall.
